The best fall activities in Orlando

Fall—around the country, it’s the time of year when the trees change color, leaves make the perfect crunch and the air starts to chill. For us here in Florida, it’s the time of year when the weather starts to feel just perfect.

The calendar around here tends to match that mood, filling up with dozens of fall activities in Orlando every weekend. There’s so much to choose from, but here are a few of our favorites so you can get out there and make the most of the season.

Visit a pumpkin patch

What pops up into your head when you hear the word fall? That’s right, pumpkins! Pumpkin patches seem to sprout up everywhere this time of year. Perfect for a date night, family fun event or day out with your friends, a pumpkin patch offers picture-perfect photo opportunities and plenty of chances to make memories. Find your way to a corn maze

Do you have that one friend who loves escape rooms? Test them out with the fall version—a corn maze. A corn maze is a great way to get outside, practice decision making skills and to celebrate the fall! Come dressed in your favorite flannel and jeans and take pictures—trust us, you’ll want this framed! Near Orlando, there are a few maze options. Hit a local festival

With such beautiful weather in Central Florida in the fall, it’s no surprise that many towns and organizations plan fun festivals this time of year.
