Gear Preparation for Ziplining in Florida

In order to feel more prepared than nervous, it helps to know about the gear that’ll keep you safe while you soar through the air.

Let’s go over how to get your gear ready for your zipline Florida experience.

First things first: Before you begin your tree top trek, you must have your signed waiver. If you’re under 18, make sure you have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver for you. You can find the waiver form on Orlando Tree Trek’s website, or you can fill it out when you arrive.

Wardrobe: Whether you’re tackling an obstacle course, playing in a rope park or zip lining in Florida, you need to make sure you’re dressed appropriately. Part of your gear is the clothes you wear! You should plan on wearing clothes that are not loose or baggy and closed-toe shoes on your tree to tree adventures. You should also wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, since you will be outside. Long hair should be tied back. Finally, we recommend not wearing jewelry—we’ll accessorize you with safety gear!

Safety gear: Orlando Tree Trek will provide you with all the gear you need to stay safe during your time on our adventure park ziplines. You’ll be provided with a harness that uses CliC-iT technology, which uses magnets to ensure that you’ll always be safely locked into place, sailing through the air. The friendly staff will check your harness to make sure it fits snuggly.

Training: After you have all of your gear prepared, there’s one last thing you need to do before you can begin your zipline Florida experience. You need to complete a training session! The Orlando Tree Trek staff will teach you everything you need to know to have a great time on your treetop trek.
