Best things to do in Orlando for Spring Break
Whether you’re a Sunshine State local or just visiting, this time of year means you might be looking for things to do in Orlando for Spring Break.
Luckily for you, Orlando has so much to do, you can’t possibly fit it into one week! Looking to relax? Our incredible resort spas and pools are a great choice. Want to kick it up a notch? The City Beautiful can get that adrenaline pumping!
If you’re searching for the best things to do in Orlando and can’t decide what to put on the Spring Break itinerary, take a look at a few of our favorites below.
Get out on the water
One big perk about Central Florida is its proximity to some of Florida’s best beaches. It’s just a short drive both east to the Atlantic and west to the Gulf of Mexico. But did you know you don’t even have to leave Orlando to get some quality time on the water? There are several natural springs in Central Florida where you can swim, kayak, paddleboard and splash around in the beautiful emerald water. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see some manatees who come inland in search of warmer waters this time of year! No matter what route you choose, a short trip can mean the perfect way to spend a day.
Take a trip to the parks
When visiting Florida—and especially Orlando—who doesn’t think of theme parks? In fact, we bet they’re probably already on your Spring Break checklist. We are so lucky to live in the land of Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. Just a day at the parks is a great way to soak in the magic, but some time at Universal CityWalk or Disney Springs shopping and eating could scratch that itch, too!
Visit a museum
Need a backup plan in case there’s a rainy Florida day? Orlando has a wide variety of museums for all audiences. If you’re feeling creative, why not venture to one of Orlando’s art museums, like the Orlando Museum of Art or the Mennello Museum of American Art? History buffs may want to check out the Orange County Regional History Center or mix in something different with Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Alternatively, if you have a knack for science, you can take a visit to the Orlando Science Center. It’s a great choice for something educational AND fun for the kids.
Make memories at a tree to tree adventure park
Another way to get outdoors and have fun in the Orlando sun is by visiting a ropes course. And trust us, there’s nothing like zip lining in Florida to get your heart pumping! It is easily one of the most epic outdoor adventures in Florida.
Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park is a rope park that includes adventure park ziplines. We offer an obstacle course for everyone, including courses for both kids and adults. Guests climb up to 50 feet in the air on tree to tree adventures, tackling everything from wooden bridges and wobbly logs to wall hangs even a Tarzan swing.
You’ll get outside, get moving and have a blast if this makes your Spring Break list!
